Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. No need for superfluous decorations, and no worries about buying gifts. Simply gathering among friends and family to reflect on gratitude. This year’s Thanksgiving we spent it with our dear friends M&L’s family. So grateful that they have looked after our entire family since we moved to Cincinnati.

感恩節是我最愛的節日之一！不需要花俏裝飾品，更不需要絞盡腦汁買禮物，一家人聚一起回顧一整年感謝的事，最愛這種樸實過節的方法。今年感恩節我們在很照顧我們的M&L家過，謝謝他們全家從我們到這裡時就很照顧我們一家人。

Friendsgiving

Never thought our little house can host so many people to celebrate Friendsgiving! What a night! Everyone brought their signature dish, and I smoked a turkey for the first time ever and it was a success!

感恩節前夕，朋友們一起來我們家慶祝！沒想到我們小小的家能擠進這麼多人，真的特別開心。大家帶了拿手菜分享，而我（第一次）準備煙燻烤火雞，超級成功！

This restaurant has been on my list since the summer when we moved to Cincinnati, and it did not disappoint! Every dish we ordered came as advertised. This place is perfect for friends gathering or date night!

好吃耶！暑假搬來之前心心念念想來的餐廳，好險沒讓我們失望！每道菜都有達到我們的期待值，絕對適合約會或是朋友聚會來的餐廳。

Cafe Mochiko

If you don’t want to wait in line, come here at 5pm when they open. They offer seasonal ramen, but supply runs out fast. They have quite the fan base, and is definitely the best ramen place in Cincinnati!

不想等的話，5點一開絕對要在門口簽到！店裡時不時會推出季節限定拉麵，但晚到賣光就吃不到。每天生意好到不行，說是辛城最好吃的拉麵店絕對不為過！

Sotto

Sotto is our favorite restaurant in Cincinnati! After a football game, UN and I came here for early dinner, and we loved every bite! Must order is their donuts for dessert, definitely save room for them!

介紹完我們在這裡最愛吃的拉麵店，Sotto是我們在辛城最愛的餐廳！上次看完美式足球比賽，我和UN一起來這裡！天阿，我倆一直讚不絕口！最後一定要點甜甜圈，超級飽也要點喔！

Greater Cincinnati Japanese Restaurants Review | 大辛辛那提日本料理評比

Greater Cincinnati encompasses Northern Kentucky, Southeast Indiana, and Southwest Ohio. Even though the Asian population is scarce here, we would always hear Japanese when we shop at the Costco in Northern Kentucky. After some investigation, I found out that Kentucky has the biggest Toyota plant in the US. At the No. 1 Children’s Hospital in the Nation, there are many Japanese researchers. Which led me to think, there must be some authentic Japanese restaurants! We were stoked when I found three Japanese restaurants near us! (Finally no more avocado and mayo/cream cheese sushis)

Matsuya Japanese Restaurant

7149 Manderlay Dr, Florence, KY 41042

Entering the restaurant transported us back to Okinawa. The daily recommendations are written in Japanese on a white board. I’m happy that I can still read some Japanese! The English and Japanese menu brings back so many great memories. The sushi chef chatted up his customers at the bar, and there’s a tatami dining area. The dishes that we ordered easily won the approval of our babies.

Nagomi Japanese Restaurant

Smaller portion, don’t ask if we got full. Like the other two Japanese restaurants, they serve hand rolls and sushi rolls.

Mei Japanese Restaurant

This was the one Japanese restaurant I most looked forward to because of all the reviews. But maybe it got hyped up too much. I feel like the quality of the food does not justify the price. But I was still satisfied that I got to eat authentic Japanese cuisine. Btw, the minimum spend to get a private dining area is $100.

大辛辛那提區涵蓋北肯德基州、南印第安納州、俄亥俄州東南邊。雖然這帶亞洲人極度少，但我們常在北肯德基州的Costco聽到日文。於是我開啟偵探模式，發現這裡有Toyota美國中部最大廠。而在全美第一名的兒童醫院裡，有許多日本來的學者在做研究，我就想⋯這裡應該會有正宗日本料理吧！果然不出所料，被我找到三間道地日本料理店，讓我和UN都好開心！（終於不用吃酪梨壽司和奶酪壽司）

Matsuya Japanese Restaurant

一進去，感覺像回到沖繩。白板上用日文寫著今日特餐，好開心自己還能看懂日文字，菜單上一堆日英文參雜，真的太懷念了。師傅在吧檯邊做壽司邊和客人聊天，餐廳裡還有榻榻米區。這次點這幾道菜，寶寶們超捧場。平時不愛吃肉，今天卻把牛舌吃光（爸媽只能吃牛舌屑屑）。我點的壽司omakase，絕對是大辛辛那提裡最好吃的（三間裡價位最親民）。

份量偏小，別問我們有沒有吃飽！和另外兩家日本料理店一樣，都有握壽司和散壽司的選擇。用餐座位不多，建議打電話預約。

Mei Japanese Restaurant

這家是我最期待的日料店，小紅書、Yelp都大力推薦，但可能被評論吵得太熱，我們有點失望，總覺得價位和食材沒有成正比。即使如此，我們還是很滿足能吃到道地日本料理。對了，包廂最低消是一百元美金。

先來給我們寶寶拍拍手一下！這幾家餐廳都特別安靜，我們一開始很擔心他們會在非常安靜的餐廳裡開始大聲發出聲音，沒想到完全被食物吸引，安靜的吃完桌上食物，只有最後大聲打飽嗝（笑）！大辛辛那提的日本料理選項不像美國東西岸一樣多，且價位偏貴，但在這地方能吃到道地日本料理真是小確幸！開心！

One of my favorite parts about Cincinnati is the many great sports teams. The whole city will drop everything to tune in or be at the game. Everywhere you go you will see people repping Cincinnati’s teams.

Tickets

We usually get our tickets from Seat Geek, seamless and convenient. It shows you what your view will look like when you purchase the tickets. Other apps that we compare with are Ticketmaster and StubHub. Sometimes you can snatch a great deal moments before the game!

Information

Purses need to be under a certain dimension, and have to be transparent. If you bring little ones to the game, you can bring a diaper bag with essentials like diapers, wipes, and baby foods.

Outfit

Most fans will be donning their team’s jersey. Sometimes there will be a theme. The Rams vs. Bengals game had a “White Out” theme, and Bengals put up billboards reminding fans of that. Baseball season is usually during the hottest months, and football season is usually during the colder months, so dress appropriately!

FC Cincinnati

FC Cincinnati used to be the worst team in professional soccer. But since they moved into their new TQL Stadium, they got really good, and are now ranked first in the league! Thanks to UN for staying home to watch the kids, so that my friend and I can come watch the match. We ended up losing to FC Orlando 0-1, but the match was so exciting. TQL Stadium is set up like a European soccer stadium where there is no obstructed view. Highly recommend everyone to come to a match here to experience the American soccer atmosphere. I am coming back to watch the next match from The Bailey!

Cincinnati Reds

Live sports events have regulations such as only clear bags of a certain size are allowed. But they make exceptions for fans with babies. You can bring in your diaper bag, stroller, baby foods, and any other baby essential items. Great American Ball Park even has nursing rooms and kids play areas. GH are lucky stars for the Cincinnati Reds, they scored multiple home runs and won both of the games that they attended!

Cincinnati Bengals

When UN found out we were moving to Cincinnati, he texted me “WHO DEY!” The one live sports game we look forward to the most is seeing the Bengals play. I think every learning to watch football is on the top 10 to-do list when moving to the United States. Every game is loud and full of emotions, very unabashedly American.

Cincinnati is different from other cities that we have lived in. Here you can truly experience the passion and fervor sports fans have for their teams. Come visit us in Cincinnati and  go to a sports game with us!

喜歡辛辛那提的其中原因就是這裡有好多厲害球隊，整個城市會因大家回家看球賽而高速公路超空，連逛街商場也能感受到大家對於自己城市球隊的瘋狂程度。

買票訊息

我們通常在Seat Geek上買票，便利且快速。最喜歡的功能是選位置時，能很清楚的給你看觀賞位置和遠近度。Ticketmaster、StubHub也能買到票，可以多用幾個app做比較。有時在比賽前幾天會有便宜門票釋放出來，有機會拿到價位好且位置棒的票。

注意事項

包包大小有規定，如果超出4.5”x6.5”，就必須是透明的。如果有帶寶寶去球賽，尿布包可以帶入場，但建議只帶必用物品像是尿布、濕紙巾、寶寶食物，以方便檢查。

穿著

大部分的人一定會穿著自己支持的隊伍衣服。有時會有特別主題，像我們這次看Bengals和Rams比賽，那天衣服主題是white out（路上看板到處提醒球迷記得穿白色）。棒球季節很熱，美式足球季很冷，切記舒適最重要！

FC Cincinnati

據說FC Cincinnati以前大墊底，但自從TQL Stadium建完（改朝換代的概念），他們變超強，現在成為全聯盟第一名！感謝UN在家顧小孩，讓我能和朋友一起來看球賽。雖然以一比零成績敗給佛州奧蘭多隊，但球賽還是超精彩。而且TQL球場設計很像在歐洲看球賽，觀眾席無死角，絕對推薦各位來看比賽，感受一下在美國看足球的氣氛。

在上傳這篇文前，我和UN一起來看球賽！而且我們站在Bailey的位置看球，太開心了！站在第一排，視線有夠清楚，且球迷超熱情，歡呼聲完全無間斷。上次看完球賽，我一回家就和UN說我們應該一起在Bailey看球賽。這次的位置超high，而且我們還上電視耶！

每次現場看球賽，球場都有各式各樣的規定，像是只能帶透明包包，寶寶大小尺寸限制。但帶寶寶看球賽的讀者們，尿布袋、推車（我們通常帶旅行推車）、寶寶食物，只要是寶寶需要的都能帶進球場。球場裡還有哺乳室和小孩玩的地方，雖然我們寶寶們還小，但以後大人看球賽時小孩也不會無聊了。話說回來，GH真的是全壘打小福星，每次一進球場就猛打全壘打！

認識UN的人都知道他是美式足球狂熱迷！UN一知道我們要搬來辛辛那提的時候，他傳給我的簡訊寫説WHO DEY，我馬上知道我們要來這裡了！Who Dey是孟加拉虎隊的口號，比賽前還有隊呼，超high！從我們還沒搬來前，UN就常在家裡練隊呼，所以來看這場比賽，UN真的是興奮又期待！來了辛城三個月，看了兩場Bengals的比賽，UN覺得不亦樂乎，已經在考慮明年是不是該買季票了！我認為看美式足球比賽絕對是列為來美國十樣必做的事情之一。雖然每次看球都覺得好大聲好激動，但這就是美國文化，一定要把內心澎湃心情毫不掩飾的呈現出來。

在辛辛那提，能享受這城市每個人為這裡的球隊加油的氣氛。和以往我們住過的城市不一樣，這裡向心力好強，永遠都有話題能和人聊。各位，記得來找我們看球賽喔！
