Norfolk Botanical Garden

成立Brandy’s List，是因為當初搬到紐約時，有一大串想在紐約想做的清單，為了記錄這些活動而設的。搬來這，我當然已經列好一份無敵長想做的事，這花園就是其中一個。

I created Brandy's List to document my list of to-dos in NYC. Having moved to VA, I obviously needed to create another list. Included in this list is Norfolk Botanical Garden.

週日和朋友吃完港式飲茶，我們就到植物園。那天真是熱，熱到以為我回台灣了！好險朋友準備齊全，帶防曬和大瓶水，不然逛完植物園，我應該會曬傷和中暑。以下的照片，如果你怕毛毛蟲，請停在這。記得訂閱我的Facebook和Instagram！（建議你快閃）

After getting dim sum for Brunch on Sunday, we came to the Botanical Garden. It was a hot and humid day, reminds me of Taiwan! Good thing my friends came prepared with sunscreen and water bottles, else I would be sunburnt and dehydrated. PSA: If you are afraid of caterpillars, do not scroll down any further! 和UN約定好，今年不出國，一定要在維吉尼雅附近玩徹底，不想搬離開時後悔啊！你能讀到這，真厲害！我看到上面照片，全身癢到爆。下次見！（馬上關掉視窗）

UN and I agreed not to travel abroad this year, instead we will spend time exploring around Virginia, don't want to leave here with any regrets! Props to you for reading past the above pictures! See you next time!

ODS Graduation

ODS軍官培訓班。恭喜UN從ODS畢業，也正式當個實習生了！

Congrats to UN for graduating from ODS (Officer Development School) and officially becoming a resident dentist!

ODS完整改變UN。以前UN是個夜貓子，凌晨12點還超有精神，現在竟然9點準時上床睡覺。更誇張是，UN曾是不愛運動的人，ODS訓練後，竟然天天到健身房。

ODS completely transformed UN. He used to be a night owl, totally awake at midnight, now he is in bed by 9:00 pm. Even more incredible, UN didn’t like to exercise before, but after ODS training, he goes to the gym everyday.

PCS Experience

感謝上帝我們成功搬家了！PCS (Permanent Change of Station)大概是我近期最常用的字吧！意思是UN工作關係，我們要搬家了。第一次PCS，像準備跑馬拉松一樣緊張，一直以為手機沒響睡過頭。

PTL we have successfully started our move! PCS (Permanent Change of Station) is a new common vocab that I use on the daily recently. Due to UN’s work, we are moving. This is our first time doing PCS, I felt as nervous as when I ran a marathon, kept thinking I overslept or I missed a phone call.

這次搬家經驗超棒！搬運工人來我們家時，大稱讚我家好乾淨好整齊，開心到不行。而且我媽把台灣人的熱情帶來美國，用幾句單字招待搬運工人，一直確定大家不餓不熱。搬運工人也超愛我媽。

This first moving experience was a great one! The movers complimented how organized and clean our studio was, that alone made my day. My mom couldn’t help but express her Taiwanese hospitality, used her broken English to greet the movers, made sure they are fed and hydrated. The movers loved my mom.
