Everyone who knows UN knows that he doesn't really drink. But he was nice to go to these speakeasies with me. I have heard about this place for some time. One day after we got off the subway at Grand Central, we decided to go look for it. Actually not too difficult to find, it's outside of Michael Jordan Steakhouse to the left and up the stairs. (You can always ask around!)

UN不喝酒這事，大家都知道。但UN超好，都會陪我去找隱藏版的bar。一直想來這，某晚和UN經過中央車站，我們決定來看一下。其實不難找，從Michael Jordan’s The Steak House出口出去往左在走樓梯就到了。（問人最快）

UN Passed Board Exam

慶祝UN考試過關，我們先到Kura。這裡一直是我們慶祝必來處，第一次是我拿到工作，也是我們最愛的日本料理店。一開始只有三種價位，到現在有四個價位。連我們的日本朋友都很愛。

To celebrate UN passed his licensing board exam, we came to our favorite sushi restaurant, Kura! This was the same spot that we came to celebrate landing my first full-time job! A couple years ago, they had only three pricing options for omakase, now they have four. My Japanese friends love this place also!

Afterwards we came to Cha-An for dessert. How come I always end up ordering the same thing here?

最後到Milk Bar買Cereal Milk和Crack Pie！我愛吃的甜點上Chef’s Table，開心！

Lastly we walked to Milk Bar to buy Cereal Milk and Crack Pie! So happy that this favorite dessert place of mine was recently featured on Chef's Table!

Book Fair at Kitchen Arts & Letters

自從朋友C帶我來這家專賣與食相關的書店，我就深深愛上這店。店面不大，但來頭可厲害了。Julia Child和許多米其林三星主廚都是這裡的顧客。週六有書展，有美金一元到十元的書，我和朋友C就提早來這裡排隊。

I fell in love with this cooking book store when my friend C introduced me to it. Despite its small area, it's content is impressive. It's customers include Julia Child and many Michelin three star chefs. Saturday was book fair, they have cook books on sale from $1-$10. It's definitely worth waking up early and lining up for!
